"The Discovery Book Series has now, in addition to numerous global publishers, picked up a North American licensee; and is anticipating a two title a year growth plan. The Science of Cars Discovery Book represents a significant involvement for me, as I was instrumental in forming the initial book map with the editor, illustrating all infographics, and even providing some photography for which I was credited. Because of the nature of the chosen stock photography, most images had significant levels of retouching necessary to remove corporate sponsors, and other copyrighted material. I was also able to provide a valuable solution to a continuity of artistic character styles with my suggestion to use an existing but little known universal art style that spanned all three films in the franchise for which the editor and the designer was unaware."
