Working with legendary title designer Dan Perri, who is responsible for such memorable title sequences as the opening crawl for Star Wars, A New Hope, Scott was tasked with creating a simplified rendition of Amazon Studios opening logo sequence.

Per the directors request, this simplified illustration style was to have the impression of being hand drawn, but without the production and time limitations of traditional hand drawn 2d animation.

The sequence was designed using Illustrator with each of the lines placed into a timeline to animate as the "camera" moves into frame.
