Scott's first studio job after graduating from the Cal Arts character Animation program was for Dreamworks Animation and PDI.

While he was there, he had the privilege to work on such titles as Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, and Monsters VS Aliens as a paint fix artist.

As a contributing part of a team of seven, Scott adequately completed more scenes than his peers by a ratio of 2 to 1.5.

While he only received screen credit for KFP he was able to make a lasting contribution to the Paint Fix department by having his department T-Shirt design selected for production by his peers.
